"Lord I am not worthy that You should enter under my roof. Say but the word and my soul shall be healed." This is what we pray just before receiving Communion at Mass. " The most obvious transformation that takes place in the Eucharist is the bread and wine becoming the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. How can we enter more fully into the healing and transformative power of the Eucharist." (Fr. Ted Dobson)
On this guided retreat we will learn how to open our hearts and our lives to the healing ministru of Jesus in each part of the Mass - in the Introductory Rite, in the Liturgy of the Word, in the Liturgy of the Eucharist and in the Sending Rite, An Ignatian approach to disposing ourselves for this 'pilgrimage' of hope and new life through personal and communal prayer will be offered through two daily conferences and a Eucharistic Liturgy lived in a slower contemplative way.
